Low pH and Acidic Water

L0w pH / Acidic Water is most commonly caused by the presence of carbon dioxide in the water feeding your well. It appears as blue/green staining that is caused by the erosion of copper plumbing creating copper oxide. This erosion can lead to pinhole leaks that can go undetected for days or even weeks. According to the EPA, an acceptable pH level is between 6.5 & 8.5.
